Can I buy a Pearl item from the Marketplace in this game?! That, OR, you could simply click on Buy Now and boom, transaction done and call it a night.īut for Black Desert, so far, I just don't get how it works. And, when the seller happened to be online, it would indicate that clearly (the name of the player would appear online in the horizontal line of item description somewhere) and you were able then to send a Bid price to him/her and he or she was then able to immediately refuse or accept your offer. And if the item simply didn't exist in the market then it just wouldn't appear, period. When I wanted any item, I'd type the name in the search bar, and if the item was ACTUALLY placed by a seller in the market the item would appear in the list (and wouldn't be grayed-out, either). I mean, the last MMO I played was TERA (haven't touched that in almost a year, uninstalled since then) but I do remember that the market there was extremely simple. question #3: Why does the pre-order option and/or the bid option appear, but cannot be used on said item? I also think that we can bid on an item, but I also usually get a message telling me that I cannot bid on said item. However, EVERY time I click on that pre-order option, I get a message telling me that the item in question (it's usually the Kibelius but I've seen other items doing that as well) cannot actually be pre-ordered. I DO, of course, see that I can apparantly sort of "pre-order" the item. However, there's no "Buy Now" option anywhere. So, question #1: What does it mean when an item at the Marketplace is grayed-out?Īnd, question #2: If it means that the item is "not available" right now for some reason, then why is it that the system allows me to SEE them on the Marketplace?Īdditionally, when I check any of those grayed-out Pearl items in the Marketplace on an individual basis, they suddenly are NOT grayed-out anymore.
However, they are ALL grayed-out (literally, all of them). When I search in the Marketplace for "Kibelius" there's a TON of them appearing for various classes (including the Dark Knight). I know, for example, that I'd like to get a Kibelius outfit for my Dark Knight.
So what I'm confused about is the Marketplace and how to buy Pearl items from it (from the Marketplace). So there's a lot to learn, and a lot to try to remember (saying this 'cause I keep forgetting about the little I learn every time I come back playing it). I've been "playing" (more like trying I'd say) this game VERY occasionally (maybe one short 1 hour session every three weeks or so) ever since I bought it just a few months ago.
